Functional & aesthetic rehabilitation with implant supported crowns and veneers

Team: Sebastian Ercus (aesthetic dentistry), Muriel Krischek (periodontology), Vandevelde Dentalkeramiek (master dental technician)

Complexity: Highly elevated

Duration: ± 2 years

Finished case: April 2019

Last recall: 2020 stable

In these types of cases, we need to listen very carefully to our patient’s needs but also to plan everything in advance in a 3D simulation and smile design software.

A prototype bridge was previously designed & manufactured so that when we make extractions in the aesthetic zone, she would never leave the office without teeth. Implants were placed with the aid of a surgical guide respecting the final and ideal position of the crowns.

This approach enables us to provide a healthy, functional and facially balanced aesthetic result. In this particular case our skilled master dental ceramist was able to seamlessly recreate in porcelain the gingival tissues as well.
